It gets people attention because of its sleek-classy-black logo, its price that surprisingly affordable and its popularity which most likely boosted by its collaboration with Indonesia’s top blogger/Make Up Artist, Lizzie Parra. Some of my girl friends asked me, is Make Over products really that good? Well, in order to answer that question, I bought another Make Over product for a test. The product I bought was Make Over Two Way Cake in 01 Lace/Light Baige. This product is not the first Make Over Product I bought. I’ve bought Make Over Corrective Base Make Up in Greenish few months ago and Make Over Two Way Cake in 05 Cinnamon by mistake because I bought it on a dark-lighting-supermarket which turns out really dark for my complexions p . But since powder is more needed for daily usage than corrective base, I decided to give it a try and write my review about it. Packaging Make Over known by its sleek-classy-black packaging. The Two Way Cake compact case has a rounded mirror, and a build in sponge and sponge storage in a separated area underneath the powder. Color Shades Color shades ranging from 01 Light Beige/Lace I don’t know the difference between Light Beige or Lace, but both has no 01 and the product’s color are the same to darkest no 07 Espresso. Texture In my opinion, for a compact powder two way cake the texture of Make Over Two Way Cake is more powdery than other press powder I’ve ever tried. But it’s really light weight, and blend beautifully to the skin. It claims to blurs imperfections, well it kinda does blurring my dark spots, redness and acne spots on my face. Application Application can be done with build in sponge or using face brush. But the disadvantage of using face brush is since the texture of Make Over Two Way Cake is a bit powdery, it can easily cause a mess of powder-dust. Staying Power I have oily skin, especially on my T-zone. I applied Make Over Two Way Cake with the build in sponge. The staying power is amazing. I use it for work I am working indoor and I don’t need to touch up my face from the first application around 7 am until after lunch time around 1 pm. Usually when I wear loose powder since I am not really a big fan of using a heavy two way cake powder daily, my face already looks oily since around 9 to 10 am. My Verdict I love it! The color blends beautifully on my skin, light weight, it’s also not causing any allergic reaction or acne on my skin, so it mean that it doesn’t clog my pores, which is awesome. Maybe the fact that it’s made by macadamia nut oil, jojoba seeds oil soybean oil and avocado oils in, my face doesn’t look flat on photo. It makes my skin looks bright and healthy.
